Event Description
This event is a BDO Worlds & British qualifier event.
BDO Scottish Dance Cup will see dancers from across the region compete for a chance to qualify for BDO British & World Championship events.
Up to the Top 6 dancers will be placed in every category.
Trophies & Medals will be given to ALL dancers attending!
This event has limited capacity, tickets can be booked online on a first come first serve basis.
New Category!
BDO has announced its brand new 'FUSION TEAMS' for 2022 events.
Teams can consist of only 20% (40 seconds) Street Dance. The remaining 80% (1.20mins) must be made up of any other styles such as Jaz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Commercial & more.

Late Registration Fee
If you have not registered and wish to do so on the day you will be charged an additional £4.
We cannot guarantee you will be permitted to enter, this will depend on availability.
Seating Allocation
Dance Schools: You will be allocated seats. Depending on the venue sometimes we may allocate spectators only with floor matting available for dancers. Seating plans will be sent our prior or available on the day of the event.
Individuals: If you have paid on the door then you will not have been allocated seats, however, there may be seats available at less busy events.
Start / Finish Times
This will be determined closer to the event date. Generally, for an average event, our finish time would be around 5pm. For smaller events, this could be 4 pm and for larger events 6pm+.
Tickets Purchased On The Day
Tickets will be available on the door charged at full price. You may need to pay an additional late registration fee if you have no pre-registered to compete.
This event follows our normal event schedule. Awards take place after each section (Teams, Solos, Duos), allowing you to leave if you are not competing in further sections.

Street Fusion Teams
This section is new to 2022 regional events. Your routine must include no more than 20% Street Dance. Eg. 40 seconds of a 2-minute routine must be made up of Street, with the remaining time to be made up of other dance styles. Here is your opportunity to include any style of dancing into your team performance such as
Contemporary, Ballet, Jaz, Commercial, Tap & More.
Opportunities to compete in this section are limited per school. Please consult with BDO directly before registering to compete.
