Event Description
BDO are delighted to announce we will be returning to the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. This event is one of our regional qualifiers, all winners from 1st-6th place will be rewarded points towards qualifying for our major events such as British Championships and BDO Worlds.
This event will include Teams, Mega Crews, Solos and Duos. We have over 400 trophies to be won, as well as the chance to be crowned the regional champions.
At BDO events, we go above and beyond to ensure you and your whole school have a day to remember. All participants will receive medals and certificates.
All dancers are welcome to attend our events, whether you’re a beginner/ have never competed before or you’re an advanced dancer and lookingfor a challange. You will compete against some of the best dancers in the UK!
For solos and duos, our music will be urban/hip-hop based. Music is specifically chosen to suit each ability level.
Throughout the day there will be entertainment from our host, judges performances and time for teams to practice and regular breaks. There is also a cafe within the venue, however you’re welcome to bring food with you to the event.
All schools will be allocated specific seating areas (Must book tickets in advance) Dancers are welcome to sit around the dancer floor.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Dance teachers ONLY are to contact the main door staff who will direct you to your ticket collection point. Teachers will be asked to sign for their tickets and agree the correct amount at the collection point with the head of the management team. Tickets will then be handed out to school members by the dancer teacher ONLY, OUTSIDE of the main hall. All wristbands must be secured onto all attendants wrists before they can enter the arena or they will be stopped from entering by door staff.
On the door tickets may be available, please contact us prior to check availability.
All dance teachers will be responsible for their tickets and refunds are not accepted if tickets are lost or misplaced.

This event follows our normal event schedule. Awards take place after each section (Teams, Solos, Duos), allowing you to leave if you are not competing in further sections.
