Welcome to BDO DANCE!
Below you can find information regarding our regional event near you!
We are always welcoming new Dance Schools to the BDO Family and are passionate about making your BDO experience as enjoyable and empowering as possible.
We offer multiple categories to compete in along with multiple age divisions & ability levels.
Dancer & Teams are awarded trophies & medals at all events for placing 1st-6th place.
Medals are also given to all dancers, not just those who place.
Our team consists of some of the most friendly and experienced Judges, Hosts & DJs around.
Dancer Schools will be given the opportunity to qualify for Major events such as BDO British Dance Festival & GDO World Championship events annually.
Dancers & Teams placing 1st-6th will be awarded valuable points that will go towards an overall Dance School total which will determine whether you
have qualified for major events!
What Categories can i compete in ?

-Street Teams -MegaCrews -Street Solos -Street Duos -Parent Teams -ABS Teams (Anything but Street)
What is ABS Teams?
ABS stands for Anything but Street. This is a brand-new addition to our events.
Styles Include:
Contemporary, Acro, Jazz, Freestyle, Musical Theatre, Performing Art, Ballet, Tap & Anything else other than Street!
This is a new category introduced to allow alternative style teams to compete at BDO events.
Teams will go head-to-head to be placed 1st-6th.
When entries for particular styles are dominant, we may use subcategories. Eg if there are 10 teams who are contemporary in style we might then run an ABS Teams with a Contemporary Teams section separately at our own discretion.

Will we get allocated seating?
Seating will be allocated at most events, when seating is limited for some venue we may allocate seating for spectators only.
Is there a late registration fee?
Yes there will be a £5 fee for late registrations.
